Detailed reports display distinct call data in contrast to Pivot reports that work on aggregates .
Overview
The main window has four main part:
- Ribbon
- Grid
- Grid Group Bar
- Grid Field Chooser
- The Grid
- Filter
- Status Bar
On the image above you can see CDR detailed reports. Queue detailed reports have the same organization, but different data and fields.
Detailed Ribbon
CDR and Queue detailed reports have the same commands on the ribbon. Queue detailed reports have additional two commands on the ribbon to drill down the currently selected call. You can see more about that on “Queue Detailed Reports” help page.
Pages
Pages appear when there are more than 100.000 items in the current report. Same as it is for Pivot Reports Pages. The information about number of pages and the current page is also displayed on the status bar.
Print and Export
Printing works just like pivot reports. Exporting of data too.
Detailed Grid
Grid has three main parts:
Group Bar
Group bar serves for grouping fields with same values:
Fields within the group bar may be nested. Gird summaries will reflect the grouping(nested or not):
Field Chooser
Depending on whether you are showing CDR or a queue report, different fields will be available. You may choose to hide or show any of them with the field chooser.
Just click on the little “asterisk-like” button on the far left, and field chooser will appear. Then check/uncheck the desired fields.
The Detailed Grid
Grid displays the data in a table-like manner. There is one line for each call, in CDR and queue report respectively. For example one queue call may have many lines generated by the Asterisk PBX. Detailed queue reports would show just one line describing that call. The same applies to CDR reports (CDR can also have more than one line in Master.csv, when call is transferred, made by a “local” channel etc.)
On the image above you see detailed queue report, with nested groupings, and some fields hidden by a field chooser.
Filter
Filter lets you do custom queries on the displayed data.
Filter dialog let’s you do SQL like queries on you data.
When the dialog is shown you should first:
- Add a condition (a single condition) or
- Add a group (list of conditions connected with the same boolean operator). On the image above the operator is “AND”.
First you choose the boolean operator:
Then choose a field to be filtered:
And then choose a comparison operator:
Then you can enter the value for the field to be compared to.
Conditions may be grouped. Here’s how a sample filter with gorups looks like:
